A few weeks ago, some mutuals on Bluesky opened forms for holiday gifts/postcards. I shamelessly signed up for all of them, and in a fit of hyper excitement + guilt over the inequivalent exchange, I also offered to send postcards to interested mutuals.
To be clear, I wasn't forced to or anything like that! I just kind of startled myself because normally, I would not go through this kind of effort. Idk, maybe it's the season of giving and all?
I enjoyed the whole process and seeing mutuals sign up for it was super fun, if not nerve-wracking because what if no one wanted to join? Thankfully I managed to fill up 7 out of 10 slots, so it felt like a worthwhile endeavor.
Anyway, after some drama with the printing service and a few days of procrastinating, I finally finished writing them...! My right hand feels all cramped. Here's what they look like from the front; the postcard designs are a mix between my amateur art and my amateur photography.

Honestly, I've only ever sent anything through the post office once, and I think that was registered mail. This time, I am fraught with anxiety over mailing postcards and whether they'll actually make it to their recipients. Reading horror stories of other people who had to deal with my country's postal service doesn't help.
Also, this might be construed as "creep behavior" but I tried to find out whether my mutuals were cat people or dog people through searching their past skeets because I forgot to ask in the sign-up form. I needed to know whether they were getting cat stickers or dog stickers in the postcard, okay? Lol.
It's already the weekend + there is apparently a national holiday on Monday, so I'll be able to send these out Tuesday soonest. Hope all goes well at the post office...!
