Baby's first MHA/Bakudeku fic in the big '25.

Hi, I wrote a Bakudeku fic in a possessed, 8-hour frenzy. No, I don't know what happened, either, but I hope someone finds this enjoyable...!

Title: i'll commit you to memory
Ship: Bakugo Katsuki x Midoriya Izuku

Summary: In which Katsuki is suddenly the only one who remembers Izuku ever existed, and everyone else thinks all of Izuku's heroic deeds are his doing. Set after the epilogue arc, but before the timeskip. 2nd year class 1-A. Bakugo Katsuki's POV. Rated T, 8.9k words.

Status: Completed; 3 chapters (~3k words each)

 Some behind-the-scenes thought-dumping on what even spawned this thing...

I was reading doujinshi earlier today and was really happy, for some reason. I was in the mood. That said, I was lamenting about not being able to write for the ship because I was honestly scared (and lazy).

I see MHA fics do crazy numbers, bro. Like, I'm afraid of throwing myself into the wild. Which is pretty dumb in retrospect because I used to write for the 2nd biggest rpf ship for the biggest K-Pop boy group. And it wasn't that bad. Idk.

Maybe my brain is just too used to catastrophizing based on the horror stories it reads on the internet.

Anyway, a plot bunny head tackled my fucking gut, and I sat up for the first time in hours, and started writing. 850 words in 30 minutes. Only interrupted by the need to eat lunch. Nowhere to go but up, I think. 

8 hours later, I'm finished. It's just a few words shy of 9k but I still sliced them up into shorter chapters, because chapters longer than 4k words make me very sad (just for myself, other people can enjoy it just fine.) Are these kinds of fics still called one-shot? I've seen one-shots longer than my 3-chaptered 8.9k fic, but then again, it's probably a one-shot because it's... one chapter.

The story is inspired by uhhh... P5R, FMA, and that Fairly Oddparents episode where everyone forgets about Timmy and they're all living happy lives without him. Lmao. 

Anyway, uhh yeah, hope people enjoy "baby's first MHA fanfic." :--)
