SBS Gayo Daejeon still delivers...!

A couple of days ago, I was going to write a post lamenting how year-end k-pop gayo shows don't hit the same way anymore. But I saw this ^ video of NMIXX's Kyujin, LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eunchae, and IVE's Leeseo covering Blackpink's "Pretty Savage", and I was like, "nope, scrap that, it's still pretty good, actually!"

I really love collab stages. I gasped sooo loudly when Eunchae started singing; I think this was a perfect song choice and it takes me back to good times (I really loved the Blackpink album this came from, too!)

This may be a maknae collab stage but their respective groups have actually been active for 3-4 years already! I don't think I'll ever be ready for Gen 5, I think Gen 4's as far as I'll go...

I also watched Chaeryeong's performance of Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" but was a bit disappointed in the length, and that she wasn't singing here. But of course, she still killed the dance. Aside from that, I also liked the intro for LE SSERAFIM's performance. So shocked when they brought out the drag queens!! 

Christmas 2: Electric Boogaloo

Christmas is extended because I just got my package 🥳

Purchased the January 2026 issue of Saikyou Jump for the cover and the freebies, but also, I found this Todoroki plushie in the same online shop, and he was the last one available. This is both for the same character, and the entire line (Banpresto Pofutto). So I naturally had to get both because I am efficient that way...!

The holographic stickers (top row) are so pretty... I don't think I'll even use them for their intended purpose. I might get A5 binder fillers with pockets so I can keep them like photocards. The postcards are also very nice. 2 of them were MHA, and 2 of them were Kagurabachi. I know nothing about Kagurabachi, but might as well get into it so I can fully appreciate the merch (lol)

That being said, I am mildly peeved because I have a lot of stuff now that are too small for my current binder, and I really don't like having empty space at the top. I want everything to fit snugly into their pockets. So, I'll need to buy an A6 binder, too... 🫠

A conversation between me and my friend when I told him I can nuikatsu now

Friend: Congrats on your plushie! Buying nuikatsu stuff is also a hobby and money sink in itself haha

Me: Thank you! Thankfully it's not the type that has separate clothes, so I don't feel the need to clothe him.

Friend: Oh, how big is he?

Me: I'm not sure about measurements, but he's like... this 🤙 much (🤙 <- this is a unit of measurement in my country called a "dangkal" which is around... 8 inches, depending on how long your fingers are lmao)

Me: Anyway, he can't be clothed because his clothes are printed on and his hands are sewn together like this 🫱🫲. Maybe he can wear a straitjacket...?

Friend: Welp, he can wear hats HAHA
